The Cast
Clare is a Glitter Unicorn. In her spare time she makes electronic music, does arts and crafts and listens to 80s pop (in Primark). She firmly believes that a positive mental attitude will get you everywhere and that spreading joy, kindness and love is the most important thing in life. All things must balance, however, so on stage as part of Notflix, Clare is often a super-villain. Which is super-fun!
This no-nonsense straight-talker is always ready to stand up for the little guy and take a fist to the glass ceiling…and she’s a drummer so those are STRONG! Always on hand to challenge expectations, Holly has made a career smashing the patriarchy all over the UK and beyond. So watch out guys, she’s on a mission to show the world (nae, the universe) that womxn are the future.
When she first heard the term ‘book-worm’ at the age of seven, Ailis instantly thought “Yep, that’s me!”, and has been a self-confessed boffin ever since. Having been six feet tall since the age of 13, she has spent a lot of her acting life playing men, and Notflix is no exception: she can often be found channelling Gandalf (no acting required here) or transforming into some form of weirdly-loveable d*ck-head
Aisling is Notflix’s international woman of mystery. Where is she actually from?! Although she is proud of her Irish roots, she loves to trick the audience (although sometimes the urge to Irish dance is too much). Although she has many guises, she is known as the ‘Tom Cruise’ of the gang; prepared to do an unnecessary forward roll or bridge, dodge imaginary lasers, roll up her sleeves and stare into the middle distance.
A Tornado of Energy, Emma is always armed with a movie quote and a pony tail whip. She's the girl you come to for all things social, facts on Walking with Dinosaurs, ‘what’s on in the cinema?’ and Ru Paul’s Drag Race. (YAAAS QWEEN). She has a love for playing spunky underdog types, with a habit of suddenly breaking into song or good old rap (mutha-f****). This born and bred Londoner is ready to give you all the magic you desire, and if you're lucky, a space bun.
Emily is a big kid at heart, and the red scrunchie is the source of her improv powers. She loves reading; fantasy, sci-fi, thrillers, chick-lit, autobiographies, murder mysteries, notes on her phone from three years ago… Literally anything. She is a massive Harry Potter fan, and was distressed when Clare called a House Elf Robby in a Notflix show. She loves fancy dress and musicals (perfect for being an actor); and yes, she’s the only person in the group who knows what LARP-ing is.
Sarah will never be seen in a Notflix show, for she is its director and creator; the Goldfinger, the Blofeld, the Dr Yes-And. You may, however, see Sarah scuttling about with a bucket of stationery pre-show. She still has to do this as, despite basically inventing the effing show, she knows her place.
